LGBTQ+ Youth Group (2nd Thursdays, 5:30-7pm) – RSVP
Come join us for food, fun, community and games. This event is FREE and is open to all LGBTQ+ teens and allies in grades 6th – 12th. Dinner and refreshments will be served. RSVP preferred. Drop-ins welcome.
This event is sponsored by Lighthouse, a program of Kids in Crisis, Ridgefield CT Pride and supported by The Teen Barn and Ridgefield Youth Commission. This collaboration aims to support further the needs of LGBTQ Youth in the Greater Danbury area, including but not limited to upper Fairfield County, southern Litchfield County, and Westchester and covering the towns of Danbury, Bethel, Redding, Ridgefield, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Weston, Wilton, Katonah, Lewisboro, North Salem, South Salem and beyond.
LGBTQ+ Game Night & Potluck (4th Mon. for Jan & Feb, then back to 3rd Thursday for Mar – Dec.), 7-9pm

MONTHLY LGBTQ+ SOCIAL GROUP
We are hoping to start a LGBTQ+ Social meet-up once a month in a local café. This group is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ adults and allies to meet and mingle with others, make new friends and share new experiences. We are interested in hearing what times work best for you. Also, if anyone is interested in helping organize events, please let me know. Sign-up.
PRIDE PLAYGROUPS
The Pride Playgroups provide an opportunity for you and your child/children to meet other LGBTQ+ and LGBTQ+ ally families. We will try to match up people by the age of their children. Ideally about 5-6 families / group. One person for each group will need to volunteer to be the point person and once the group is formed will be responsible for working with others in the group to set up playdates. You can decide amongst yourselves if you want to do it at people’s houses or out somewhere. Sign-up.
