MONTHLY LGBTQ+ PEER SUPPORT GROUPS (Zoom)
- LGBTQ+ Youth Support Group– intended to serve youth who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. (1st Monday of the month)
- Caregiver, Family & Friends Support Group– for caregivers, parents, guardians, family and friends of our LGBTQ+ individuals (4th Tuesday of the month)
Ridgefield CT Pride with PFLAG Waterbury run two monthly support groups that serve the CT and NY communities.  The LGBTQ+ Youth group meets the first Monday of the month.  The Pride Caregiver support group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month and is designed to support caregivers, family and friends of people in the LGBTQ+ community. We are hoping to start a LGBTQ+ Social meet-up once a month in a local café. This group is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ adults and allies to meet and mingle with others, make new friends and share new experiences. We are interested in hearing what times work best for you. Also, if anyone is interested in helping organize events, please let me know. Sign-up. Â
*NEW* PRIDE PLAYGROUPS
The Pride Playgroups provide an opportunity for you and your child/children to meet other LGBTQ+ and LGBTQ+ ally families. We will try to match up people by the age of their children. Ideally about 5-6 families / group. One person for each group will need to volunteer to be the point person and once the group is formed will be responsible for working with others in the group to set up playdates. You can decide amongst yourselves if you want to do it at people’s houses or out somewhere. Sign-up.
