Queer Book Group

Calling all book lovers!  Join us for our very first Queer Book Group.  We would love your input on titles etc. Please submit your responses/suggestions by February 15th so we will have plenty of time to find a copy of the proposed book and read at a leisurely pace.

Sapphic Socials

Join Ridgefield CT Pride on Friday, March 13, from 7-9pm for our very first Sapphic Social event! Meet some new faces, make connections, and be part of our welcoming community. A wonderful and safe space for LGBTQ+ humans who identify as women to meet, laugh, and build friendships at this casual get together. This event is reserved for queer women, 21+.

Pride Playgroups

We are thrilled to announce that our Pride Playgroups will be starting up this spring!  Pride Playgroups provide an opportunity for you and your child/children to meet other LGBTQ+ and LGBTQ+ ally families.

Pride in the Park

Ridgefield’s seventh annual Pride in the Park celebration will take place on Saturday, June 6 from 12 – 3 pm in Ballard Park, 485 Main Street, Ridgefield (Rain location: Yanity Gym) with a parade around the park starting at 1pm. Ridgefield Pride in the Park is a free event, open to the public and catering to families, with a variety of activities, crafts, entertainment and informational tables geared towards all ages.

Senior Voices: Ask Me Anything

Everyone knows someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Join the Ridgefield Commission on Aging & the Ridgefield Library for a panel discussion where you will hear from members of the LGBTQ+ Community and Allies. Come learn about the LGBTQ+ community, what Ridgefield CT Pride has to offer to seniors and how you can become an ally. Registration required.

Friendsgiving Potluck

Join Ridgefield CT Pride & St Stephen’s Episcopal Church for our second annual FRIENDSGIVING POTLUCK for the LGBTQ+ community and allies (families welcome).  The event will take place on SATURDAY, November  22nd at 1pm.  Please let us know what you are thinking of bringing.  This is a non-alcoholic event.    Location and directions will be sent closer to the event.

Poetry in the Garden: LGBTQ+ Voices

On July 21, Poetry in the Garden: Voices from Marginalized America welcomes two poets whose work explores the marginalization, expression, and resilience of LGBTQ+ Americans: Mark Doty—a National Book Award winner—and award-winning poet Trace Peterson. The winners of a poetry contest co-sponsored by Ridgefield PRIDE will also be presented. A book signing will follow.

Ridgefield Oral History Project Celebration & Conversation

To commemorate and celebrate the success of the Ridgefield LGBTQIA+ Oral History Project, the Ridgefield Historical Society and Ridgefield CT Pride invite you and your loved ones to the Ridgefield Oral History Project Celebration & Conversation. Nationally renowned LGBTQIA+ historian, Susan Ferentinos PhD, will facilitate an informal roundtable with project participants.  Refreshments will be served.   Registration required.

Pride Art Creation & Expo

Support Ridgefield CT Pride while having fun creating art.

In honor of LGBTQ+ History Month, Queen B Coffee Company is partnering with Ridgefield CT Pride on a Pride Art Creation Project and Expo. This celebration of Pride and creative expression is open to members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies.

Support Ridgefield CT Pride while having fun creating art. Queen B will provide the canvas, you provide the creativity! Art entries will be displayed at Queen B and made available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting Ridgefield CT Pride.

Register anytime between now and September 10th.  Then pick up a canvas at Queen B Coffee Co. between August 20 & September 10th.

Decorate it and drop off your art at Queen B by September 20th, 2025
