Ridgefield CT Pride in the Park

Ridgefied’s seventh annual Pride in the Park celebration will take place on Saturday, June 6th from 12 – 3 pm in Ballard Park, 485 Main Street, Ridgefield (Rain location: Yanity Gym) with a parade around the park starting at 1pm.   Ridgefield Pride in the Park is a free event, open to the public and catering to families, with a variety of activities, crafts, entertainment and informational tables geared towards all ages.

In addition to Pride in the Park, there will be a multitude of celebratory Pride events throughout May, June and July with something for everyone, from our tiniest tots to our seniors.

In these times of social upheaval and division it is essential that we come together and support each other.  The LGBTQ community is one of our vulnerable populations, and it is important that we work to lift people up rather than pull them down.  Ridgefield CT Pride provides just such an opportunity to do so, so please come join us in celebrating the LGBTQ community.

Ridgefield CT Pride is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that was created in 2019.

Pride in the Park Activities include:
Hair Flair Station
Lawn games (corn hole, can jam, hula hoops, potato sac races, giant size connect 4)
Crafts: beading, coloring, nail painting, button making
Kid-friendly activities (ie: ball pit, temporary tattoo , face painting, nail painting, coloring, beading) balloon animals
Rainbow Family Storytime
Photo station
Bring your own picnic
Free cotton candy

DJ at the Gazebo
Live Music at the Stage: Ridgefield Chorale
March around the Park at 1pm
