Our Mission
Ridgefield CT Pride was created to foster belonging, provide support, and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Ridgefield and beyond.
Our mission is to:
Foster a sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, and friends
Educate, raise awareness, and promote understanding
Increase LGBTQ+ visibility in Ridgefield
Provide meaningful support to individuals, families, and allies
Celebrate the richness and diversity of our LGBTQ+ community
Ridgefield CT Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Did You Know?
- There are nearly 2,400 LGBTQ+ residents in Ridgefield — including around 800 seniors
- Ridgefield’s total population: 25,021 (AdvanceCT, 2024)
- LGBTQ+ identification in the U.S. has risen to 9.3% (Gallup, 2025)
